Freeman Gosden

     Born on May 5th in 1899 in Richmond Virginia and later became very famous for being the voice of Amos in Amos N' Andy. He was also the voice of George "KingFish" Stevens. Freeman got married on June 27th 1927 to Leta Marie Schreiber and later divorced on December 10th 1940. He was also good friends, and neighbors with Frank Sinatra and was Sinatra's best man for his fourth wedding. Living a good life Freeman died on December 10th 1982.

Charles James Correll

      Charles Was born On February 2nd 1890 in Peoria Illinois and was the voice of Andy. Married in 1937 to Mercedes McLaughlin and had four children, Barbara, Richard, Dottie, and Charles Correll. He was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for radio. He remained married until his death on September 26th 1972 from a heart attack.
